An easy going Thursday...

Well, Hello! Hope things are well with all of you. I'm currently printing out envelopes and papers for my teacher recommendations and watching my rabbits (those wascally wabbits!) hop around the backyard (and fo course writing this). This week has been pretty mellow so far; there hasn't been much homework and I didn't even have work today! Hopefully things will stay at least some what like they have been until I'm done with College Apps. (Ah yes, and those College Apps squeeze their way into my blogs again!) Now, the downside of this non-craziness in my life at this moment is ALAS! I have nothing really to blog about! *cringe* EXCEPT.....except....well there are a few things definitely worth mentioning....

1) The on going search for the mystery photo...Last Semester at Fall Semester Palomar (a local community college) Jazz Ensemble Performace (which I like to refer to as FSPJEP or just JEP, either way it is very amusing to pronounce) before the show started, the band was doing a sound check and like every forward thinking electric bass player who's bass has active pickups, I was replacing the 9 volt in my bass, which involves using a screwdriver (which I always have with me). I was also wearing a very fluffly, lacy, blue (in other words cutesy to the max) dress. So, I was sitting in a chair wearing my "purdy" dress with my bass on my lap unscrewing the screws from the back. The scene just screamed inconsistency, so someone took a picture of it. Now I'm trying to find out who took that picture, because I personally feel it certainly sums up a lot about me and I would love to send it off to colleges in a little booklet that I'm making of projects I've done.

That point probably could've been set up and executed in about half as many words, but it would not have nearly been so much fun to write!

2) Senior Shirts are in!... I just got the call from my screen printers that the Senior Shirts that blondegeek was hired to do for my high school are done! The design for the shirts had been done since August but we had a wee bit of trouble trying to figure out budget, order size, and all that jazz. But! That is now cast gloriously into that past! I can't wait to see these tees worn around school. I WILL post pics of them so ya'll can see them. They are very punny and wonderful.

3) MIT application process... This past weekend I sent off Part 1 of my application to MIT. I am now OFFICIALLY applying under Early Action. I also have my interview tomorrow at 2 pm, which I am very excited about (maybe a itsy bit anxious about too, but not too much).

That's my week so far. Can't wait to visit UCLA this on Saturday!
