So what's up in the world? Katrina, Los Angeles (a much smaller problem than Katrina of course), supreme court nominations, lots of stuff. But Russia....does any one know what Russia's up too? I only know that they whooped Korea at women's double tennis at Acura, which was a while ago, but that's about it. Ya, I'm really up to date with current events.
Wait, why did I title this "the significance of graphite"? that doesn't have anything to do with...oh nvm. Me acuedo! We were suppose to make these quaint little vocab books for English with a sentence and picture for each of our vocab words. Somehow I came up with a seven sentence story that included our 10 vocab words. Then I drew the pictures just with pencil because I felt it was appropriate with the story and with what time it (about 10 pm). But of course, I didn't use color due to laziness! No I would never do that! I didn't used color because i felt that "the black, grey, and white color scheme of the pictures aides in the emphasis of the solemn mood that the story portrays." That's it. That's part of the analytical paragraph (that had nothing to do with the project) that I wrote on the back of my booklet to convince my teacher that it is because of symbolism my book is so plain, not because of laziness and procrastication. :) The paragraph is quite persuasive and it's not a bad story, so I should be fine.
