MIT Meeting Madness

Ah! What an odd week. I think the title of Zombie Week would be appropriate because it seemed like everyone, including myself, was completely out of it. Actually by Thursday I was so tired for no apparent reason that right after finishing my AP Euro reading I climbed on my bed thinking "I'll just lie here for a few minutes and then I'll study for vocab" and the next thing I knew 5:30-ish (gotta love the -ish *note to Ja and Ma "I believe it is in the land of England...ish."* <--everyone else, just ignore that part) turned into 8:00. For the first time in years, I had actually taken a......a......(suspenseful music reaches it's climax!) NAP!!!!!(I have protested to naps since I was a wee lass) What is this year doing to me!

Yesterday was a home game for football, but TV Tech wasn't doing anything because Mr. S (I love how I can say what all the techs call him and people will never know who the hell I'm talking about unless they know who exactly the TV Tech instructor is at our school) had other things planned. So for the first time ever I didn't have to do anything, and it was very unsettling because I had no idea what to do with myself. Well, I did kinda help ASB tech carry stuff up to the field but besides that I didn't help with sound and I ate some of their pizza. Also some of my recently graduate friends were there (redhead head-banging madnees!). Semi-emo was there too *cough* who needs to get a *cough* photogallery *cough*. And of course there are all the wonderful in band, whose show during half-time ROCKED (it moved me guys, really. Almost brought a tear to me eye. I wanted to be up there w/ you guys but I don't think you guys really need a bass player, and besides, the uniforms for the actual competitions are not really my style <-- real minor thing but still makes a difference). During most of whole event though I was uberly(first time something relating to uber in this blog and it's two paragraphs in, I'm making an improvement) tired and mostly sat in the stands next to band and zoned out. Being a little under the weather probably doesn't help too much. Yo fui muy sueneo y enfermo poco! (gotta use Spanish when you can, even if it might not always be correct)

Today, I am feeling much better, having woken up and 7:30 versus the usual 5:00 am. For the past hour and a half I was cruizing MIT's website, checking out the blogs of some of the students and other hip-happening news. I'm actually going to one of MIT's Admissions Information Meetings that's happening today. Unfortunately, I have no voice (I lost it and am having trouble finding it. Yes. I did check under my bed, but thanks for the suggestion) so if they say hello all you are going to hear out of me is: h..h.ee *cough* *cough*

Lovely really.

I going to go and get ready and all, and maybe get some of my homework done. What to wear?! Do you think sporting a t-shirt that says "I LOVE MIT!" would be a bit much? :) Don't worry I will refrain from wearing any of my computer t-shirts. (not that you would worry, I really hope you guys don't come to my website because you worry about me, that would be very sad) Toodles!
