This month has been a splendid one for blondegeek offline. "Offline? What do you mean?" you may ask. Private commissions, that's what I mean! After completing a commission for my high school's ASB (a very lovely tree design crafted by my 1337 friend Tahnee (click here for her website) blondegeek has received 4 more commissions from around the school: another one for ASB and the rest for Model United Nations, Yearbook, and our school Newspaper. I can't wait to get a new tab up (which will probably be called "Commissions" or "Commission us!" the rest of you "web-sters" <- [note-that is in reference to persons on the web and not extreme lexicographers] may see them and perhaps find that you need some custom tees for your group/party<-[you may or may not take that in the Dungeons and Dragons sense :)]!
On a more tedious note, I am redesigning the index page....AGAIN! The current photo has probably been up for about...hmmm...maybe six months?...ya. So, it must be changed for morale sake.
I'm going to quit blogging and get to scripting. Javascript, yum.

School has started and it's 100 degrees!
School has started. Busy as hell. What's new?
My schedule is seamless, but I do kinda miss having lunch at school with everyone. I'm completely missing out since I can technically stay on Mondays, Fridays and every other Wednesday, but that still not everyday.
I finally finished my beauteous Star Trek quilt!...except for the quilting (sewing the 3 layers together) part. After sewing the sides up around midnight this morning (ha! midnight vs morning) I for some reason lacked the additional motivation and energy to permanently quilt it up. Oh shwell, I'll get to it later. And of course, I will evvveeeennnnttttuuuaalllyyy load up a pic under projects -> sewing.
Actually, I have plenty of projects that I need to upload for that new part of the site. But first, I must collect pics for all them! BTW how'd you guys like my Doric cucumber temple? Pretty shnazy, eh?
Ah yes, I haven't mentioned college applications have I? MIT and Caltech are still my dream schools. I'm trying to figure out if I can apply Early Action to both so that I can find out in mid Dec whether they liked me or not! And if luck favors me this fall, I'll only have to write 1 main essay, since MIT's essay may possibly be the main essay for the University of California's app and the Common App has a lovely check bubble that says "Topic of Your Choice". In that case, I better make it one kick butt essay! Right now, my drafts are kinda all over the place. The beginning and end are good but the middle looks like a train wreck of hobbies all flopping about!
I finished my little lined Moleskin today! I wrote in it for a whole year and for me to stick to writing in something for that long is a major accomplishment for me. (Moleskin = notebook with a funny name.) I used it as a planner, except without defined dates because ordinary planners never have enough lines to accommodate my ridiculously big handwriting and side sketches. On to the next one!
The Jazz Standard "Take 5" has been following me everywhere, even when I was shopping for fabric!!! AHHH! It's more haunting than Solar, another very addicting jazz standard!
Speaking of Solar which relates in name to celestial bodies, did anyone watch the lunar eclipse. I unfortunately missed it because I lost consciousness to slumber, but a little bird told me it was pretty cool.
In lesser news, I officially have a facebook now under blondegeek@blondegeek.net, so feel free to poke me! My myspace on the other hand is still in a poor state with no pictures and a standard layout.
Dinner time. Pasta with Parmesan. Yum.
