So here's a brief rant about what's new, sparkle-ly and rockin' in my wee world right now:
+ I've been in a sewing frenzy lately. In the past month I've made two casual, poofy dresses. (*Pics coming soon, just not next week)
+ Did I mention it's SUMMER????!!!!
+ Finally got business cards printed.
+ Finished a fabulous book: The Alphabet vs. the Goddess by Leonard Shlain.
+ Started two great books: Art and Physics (also by Leonard Shlain) and The Beat of a Different Drum: The life and science of Richard Feynman (a biography by Jagdish Mehra...Thank you Gunnar for letting me borrow your copy!)
+ Bought three Tank Girl comics!!! (I was so psyched that the comic store had them!)
+ Experiencing the phenomenon of a increase in melanin in my skin, what is commonly known as "a tan". Beach-y goodness!
I'm very excited about all the extra time I will have this summer! More time = more time to make blondegeek.net more awesome and *cough* recent *cough*.
Oh, and by the way...Call me Tess. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse...
(Nerd points on the Melville reference?)
I'll get around to changing everything from Zera to Tess...once again, just not next week. I'll be out of town and unable to have access to my normal photo and web editing tools - namely my desktop, Athan. Talk to ya'll in about a week and a half; I'm headed to Pepperdine for a leadership conference!
